Requirements
  • A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in supplier management or procurement, including at least 2 years influencing multiple stakeholders including senior leadership.
  • At least 2 years of experience in client-facing roles with responsibility for significant scope, quality, budget, resources, or delivery schedules.
  • At least 2 years of experience in business operations management, project management, or a similar domain.
  • At least 2 years of experience working with virtual teams.
  • Demonstrated understanding of at least three supplier-management skill sets and real-life expertise examples in at least four listed skill sets.
  • Experience establishing governance frameworks for information technology vendors, managing scorecards, and leading business reviews to govern vendor delivery.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and articulately with senior internal and client leadership.
  • Moderate expertise in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, plus basic knowledge of Microsoft Project, Microsoft SharePoint, and Microsoft Visio.
  • A diploma, Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Technology, Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Science, Chartered Accountant qualification, or Chartered Accountant internship qualification.
  • Ability to manage supplier relationships, processes, contractual compliance, service delivery, and service-level agreement compliance.
  • Ability to understand project scope and provide clear, specific, and measurable outcomes.
Responsibilities
  • Manage one or more strategic supplier relationships, including managed suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of processes and outcomes to achieve project targets.
  • Manage core processes and sub-processes for supplier segmentation.
  • Assess, evaluate, and monitor supplier performance and governance to reduce costs, mitigate risks, and promote continuous improvement.
  • Manage contract formulation, execution, and compliance, including clause management.
  • Validate invoices using four-way matching and identify overcharging and undercharging.
  • Ensure client and user service requests are met according to agreed service-level agreements and key performance indicators.
  • Manage information technology vendor service-level agreements and contractual key performance indicators across critical software and hardware infrastructure.
  • Mentor team members on supplier performance management concepts.
  • Set up processes for new deals and improve processes in existing deals.
  • Develop, drive, and sustain qualitative delivery outputs through continuous improvement in supplier delivery.

Accenture drops LearnVantage focus, shifts $9B to cybersecurity and mid-market expansion

Accenture is shifting its growth strategy, de-emphasising LearnVantage, a learning and training business it built and promoted heavily in 2024. The company mentioned LearnVantage only once on its June 2026 earnings call, listing it amongst AI enablers rather than highlighting it as a standalone growth driver. Meanwhile, Accenture is redirecting resources toward cybersecurity, which has grown from $700 million in fiscal 2016 to $10 billion in fiscal 2025. The company is acquiring a majority stake in an operational technology security specialist, alongside two smaller firms, combining them into a platform for critical infrastructure. These assets generate $208 million in annual recurring revenue, growing at 48%. Accenture's acquisition budget for fiscal 2026 is approximately $9 billion against $73.1 billion in trailing twelve-month revenue. The company has also launched Accenture Edge, targeting mid-market companies. The stock is down 24.3% over the past year.

Accenture acquires Dutch SAP partner McCoy to boost mid-market AI and ERP capabilities

Accenture has agreed to acquire McCoy, a Dutch SAP transformation partner specialising in mid-market companies. Upon closing, McCoy will join Accenture Edge, the firm's mid-market business serving companies with annual revenues between $300 million and $3 billion. Founded in 2012, McCoy operates from the Netherlands with offices in Spain and the Philippines. The company employs over 380 professionals who design, implement and manage SAP solutions across ERP, data and business applications. McCoy holds SAP Gold Partner status and serves clients in high-tech, manufacturing, public sector, utilities and retail. The acquisition will strengthen Accenture Edge's position in the EMEA mid-market whilst expanding SAP modernisation capabilities in the Netherlands. The deal is subject to regulatory approvals. Financial terms were not disclosed.
