Responsibilities:

• Adhere safety protocols (safety rules and principles) in work area.
• Check incoming base fabrics and chemicals for conformity to specifications.
• Document and segregate any non-conforming raw materials.
• Monitor production and testing parameters (coating temperature, application, drying, sintering etc.,).
• Conduct in-process quality checking as per product norms (ex – Bond strength, Strike back, Addon, Width, Shrinkage etc.,).
• Maintain accurate quality records and daily reports.
• Report quality issues to superior with recommended corrective actions.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects and Lean/Six Sigma initiatives.
• Train or mentor junior QC staff or new hires on quality standards and processes.
• Assist in investigating customer complaints and implementing preventive actions.
• Support the calibration and maintenance of testing equipment.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in textiles, Interlining manufacturing, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in a QC role within the textile/interlining industry.
• Strong understanding of fusing standards, and quality norms.
• Familiarity with testing equipment and basic knowledge of ISO 9001 / 14001.
