Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree or diploma with at least 5 years of experience in ultrasound applications in a multinational corporation is required.
  • Experience in fetal medicine, general imaging, obstetrics and gynecology, vascular sonography, and cardiology applications is essential.
  • Ultrasound technical or clinical industry experience and applicable certifications are required.
  • Knowledge of 2D, Doppler, and color flow imaging, with experience in 3D and 4D imaging, especially for obstetrics and gynecology, is required.
  • Must be willing to travel up to 75% both within and outside the assigned geographic region.
Responsibilities
  • Provide technical and clinical leadership during the sales process by demonstrating the full range of ultrasound products, including potential uses, product capabilities, and customer benefits.
  • Coordinate, schedule, and execute objective-based system training for customers and channel partners, and monitor and report on training outcomes.
  • Develop and deliver product training to customers on equipment usage.
  • Monitor customer installations of ultrasound products within the assigned territory or region to enhance customer satisfaction and maintain strong relationships.
  • Support trade shows and professional conferences by conducting product demonstrations and customer training sessions.
  • Leverage market and product knowledge to assist the sales team in developing sales, marketing, and customer service strategies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders in the region and periodically train the sales and dealer teams to enhance their capabilities.
  • Penetrate competitive accounts and provide current market intelligence to the business.
  • Promote new product features and clinical techniques, and collaborate with customers to develop training plans and strategies supporting new product adoption and ongoing ultrasound training needs.
  • Serve as the focal point for the modality or team by identifying customer satisfaction issues, assisting with escalations, resolving problems, and addressing specialty training requests.
  • Advocate for and support hybrid training delivery models for customers.
  • Maintain documented pre- and post-training records in alignment with global guidelines.
  • Provide pre- and post-sales support for ultrasound systems, including workshops, continuing medical education sessions, webinars, and hands-on training.
  • Support the local customer team or region according to the scope of priority.

GE HealthCare secures CE mark for Photonova Spectra photon-counting CT system

GE HealthCare has received CE mark approval for its Photonova Spectra photon-counting computed tomography system, enabling commercial sales in markets recognising CE marking. The clearance follows US Food and Drug Administration approval and Japanese regulatory clearance in March 2026. The system uses GE HealthCare's Deep Silicon detector technology to deliver ultra-high definition spectral and spatial imaging. It processes data volumes up to 50 times greater than conventional CT systems, utilising Nvidia's accelerated computing platform. Clinical collaborations are underway at UZ Brussel in Belgium and Rigshospitalet in Denmark to evaluate the system across cardiology, neurology, oncology and musculoskeletal imaging. The CE mark follows more than $5 billion in innovation investment by GE HealthCare.

GE HealthCare launches three new Vivid cardiovascular ultrasound systems for diverse care settings

GE HealthCare has introduced three new cardiovascular ultrasound systems to its Vivid portfolio: Vivid Explorer 1, Vivid Advanced 1, and Vivid Focus 1. The systems were unveiled at the European Society of Cardiology Congress 2026 in Munich, Germany. Each system targets different clinical settings whilst sharing a common technology foundation with the ultra-premium Vivid Pioneer. Vivid Explorer is designed for high-volume echo labs, Vivid Advanced for mid-size hospitals and cardiology practices, and Vivid Focus for everyday cardiac imaging. All three systems use cSound imaging technology and include AI-enabled automation tools to streamline echo workflows. The systems have received CE Mark approval but are awaiting US FDA 510(k) clearance and are not yet available for sale in the United States.

GE HealthCare launches Invenia ABUS Prime and StreamVue for breast cancer screening

GE HealthCare has launched Invenia ABUS Prime and ABUS StreamVue, expanding its breast imaging portfolio with solutions for supplemental screening in women with dense breasts. The Invenia ABUS Prime system has been installed at BeSound in Los Angeles, marking one of the first US installations.
