Requirements
  • Communication skills – guests will need to come to you with concerns as well as compliments, so you’ll be easy to talk to
  • Your problem-solving skills will turn issues into opportunities so every guests leaves with great memories
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts between 7am and 11pm – night, weekend and holiday shifts are all part of the job
  • Literate and Tech-Savvy – you’ll need a good grasp of reading, writing, basic math and computers.
  • Fluency in English – extra language skills would be great, but not essential

Responsibilities
  • Kicking off truly memorable guest experiences with the warmest of welcomes
  • Acknowledging and prioritizing IHG Rewards Club members InterContinental Ambassadors, and returning guests in person or over the phone
  • Handling guest bookings, suggesting upgrades, and promoting amenities.
  • Taking, managing, and receiving cash and credit payments efficiently for guest bookings
  • Making the check-in and check-out process feel swift and seamless
  • Staying one step of our guests’ needs to anticipate requests and offer tailored recommendations
  • Being our guests’ trusted contact – helping with everything from bill issues to restaurant recommendations
  • Maintaining a professional appearance and embodying brand values.
