Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences and 5+ years of experience in a current Good Manufacturing Practice-regulated environment, including at least 2 years in Quality Assurance.
  • Experience working within an ISO 13485-regulated environment and supporting and maintaining quality systems.
  • Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practice regulations, ISO 13485, and In Vitro Diagnostic Regulation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
  • Strong proofreading skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, changing environment and meet challenging deadlines.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
Responsibilities
  • Review and approve Quality Management System documentation, including batch records and quality-control testing, to ensure compliance with QMS certifications and investigations.
  • Collaborate with departments to investigate Material Review Notifications and develop Corrective and Preventive Action plans.
  • Independently review and authorize process and equipment validations.
  • Perform or assist with internal, customer, and regulatory audits.
  • Maintain the company’s ISO 13485 certification.
  • Write standard operating procedures and train key personnel as needed to support all departments.
  • Assist others and perform additional tasks as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge of In Vitro Diagnostic Regulation is preferred.
