Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or a related role, preferably in a fundraising or non-profit environment.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Salesforce CRMA), SQL and SAQL, and statistical analysis software (e.g., R, Python).
  • Proficiency with Salesforce Sales Cloud
  • Strong knowledge of fundraising metrics, donor lifecycle management, and campaign performance indicators preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Ascend) and database management.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
Responsibilities
  • Leverage Salesforce CRMA and/or Tableau to develop and maintain well architected visual solutions to track fundraising performance, donor engagement, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Create actionable insights that allow fundraising leadership to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for fundraising improvement in support of the strategic plan.
  • Develop and maintain reusable dashboard and report templates with accessible UI/UX
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of fundraising data by performing regular data audits, identifying gaps in the data and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with IT and data management teams to improve data collection, cleansing, storage, and retrieval processes.
  • Manage the integration of data from various sources, including CRM systems, financial databases, and external data providers.
  • Ensure that SFDC Local is being populated with the correct objects and fields and monitor the Sync for errors
  • Work closely with development officers, campaign managers, and other stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and provide customized solutions. Help IA division to understand what is possible
  • Present findings and insights to senior leadership and fundraising teams in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Train and support fundraising staff in the use of data analytics tools and best practices.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of reporting and data analysis activities.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in fundraising analytics and data visualization.
