Requirements
  • Experience developing and maintaining WordPress websites, including custom themes, plugins, templates, and reusable components.
  • Strong development skills in PHP, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and SQL.
  • Understanding of web development code repositories and security, performance, accessibility, and maintainability best practices.
  • Experience working within existing codebases, enhancing functionality, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining legacy solutions.
  • Understanding of APIs, data integrations, workflow automation, and system integrations.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts and business requirements into practical technical solutions.
  • Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to follow DevOps and secure development practices and manage code and deployments responsibly.
Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize the university's WordPress websites, including custom components, templates, and functionality.
  • Troubleshoot, enhance, and maintain custom PHP code and legacy functionality.
  • Design and implement workflows, integrations, and business process automations using Microsoft Power Platform and related technologies.
  • Develop low-code applications, workflow automations, and integrations that improve business processes and access to information.
  • Evaluate, implement, and support website and automation technologies, including platform modernization initiatives and migrations.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Information Technology Services, and business stakeholders to design, test, and deliver solutions aligned with security, governance, and technical standards.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for website- and automation-related issues.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with Azure, low-code application development, or enterprise system integrations.
  • Experience building workflows, automations, or integrations using Microsoft Power Platform or similar technologies.
