Point72’s Corporate Access – Broker Relations team partners with Compliance to ensure our discretionary investment teams receive the highest quality and compliant corporate access and research in support of their efforts to generate superior, risk-adjusted returns. We focus on understanding the needs of our investment professionals, communicating those needs to the broker community, evaluating relative broker performance, and directing payment to brokers based on servicing levels.

What you will do

The Corporate Access - Broker Relations Associate role is an opportunity to join a fast-growing function to support our discretionary investing teams, while gaining exposure to the industry’s top investment talent and the broker community.

We are looking for a bright, mature, articulate, and dedicated individual to learn the broker relations function with daily responsibilities that center on relationship management, data analytics, and broker engagement. The role is supported by dedicated Technology resources who assist in developing tools and reporting for both internal and external use.  In particular, you will:

• Interact with the discretionary investment teams – PMs, analysts, traders, and counterparties to ensure our teams are being serviced appropriately
• Directly engage with management to provide an overview on broker payments, broker vote performance, and consumption metrics
• Strategically manage assigned external relationships using both internal and external systems, tools, and resources
• Partner with Compliance to ensure the highest ethical and compliance standards are maintained

What’s required

• 3-5 years of professional experience, including some Broker Relations experience and a good understanding of the banking and hedge fund industries
• Ability to synthesize large data sets
• Demonstrated academic success as reflected in a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.3/4.0
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong analytical, writing, and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office
• Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with all levels of the team
• Commitment to acting with professionalism and integrity at all times
• A solid team player with the ability to work closely and effectively across multiple business units within the Firm
• Sophisticated problem-solving skills
• Self- motivated, ambitious, and confident
• Proactive and dedicated work ethic

The annual base salary range for this role is $100,000-$125,000, which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
