Salesforce Technical Architect

Perficient is actively seeking an experienced Salesforce Technical Architect to join our team and contribute to our thriving Salesforce practice. As a Technical Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions on the Salesforce platform. This role requires deep technical expertise, hands-on development experience, and the ability to lead technical teams and guide clients through complex implementations.

• Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce development and architecture.
• Proven experience implementing Salesforce in complex environments.
• At least 3 years of recent professional services experience. 
• Strong understanding of Salesforce platform architecture, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and APIs.
• Experience with Salesforce integration patterns and tools (e.g., MuleSoft, REST/SOAP APIs).
• Demonstrated success in leading technical teams and delivering enterprise-grade Salesforce solutions.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices in Salesforce environments.
• Familiarity with AI-enhanced platforms and ability to incorporate AI capabilities into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Salesforce certifications such as Application Architect, System Architect, or Technical Architect are highly preferred.
• Agent Force or other AI Certifications is a big plus.

The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $92,118 to $202,730. The Salesforce Technical Architect is a highly hands-on role responsible for leading the technical design and implementation of Salesforce solutions, with a strong emphasis on Core Cloud. This role requires recent, practical experience with Core cloud implementations and a comfort level with hands-on development, including customizations, integrations, and solution architecture.

• Lead the technical design and architecture of Salesforce solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
• Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions using Salesforce best practices.
• Provide technical leadership across all phases of the project lifecycle, including discovery, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Develop and maintain architectural documentation, including data models, integration diagrams, and solution blueprints.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define integration strategies with external systems and platforms.
• Guide development teams on coding standards, performance optimization, and technical troubleshooting.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to Salesforce development best practices.
• Support pre-sales activities including technical assessments, solutioning, and client presentations.
• Mentor junior developers and architects, fostering technical growth and knowledge sharing.
• Stay current with Salesforce platform updates, emerging technologies, and industry trends.
• Leverage AI tools and capabilities to enhance solution design, development efficiency, and data-driven decision-making.
