Requirements
  • A terminal or doctoral degree in a relevant discipline.
  • A consistent, current research record and profile at the appropriate level, enabling leadership and mentorship of the school’s research outputs.
  • Fellowship of Advance HE, or the ability to achieve it within 12 months of appointment.
  • A track record of successful course and academic leadership and management.
  • Experience managing and/or supervising staff and resources.
  • Experience in a business school comprising both undergraduate and postgraduate higher education.
  • Experience teaching relevant subjects in UK higher education.

Responsibilities
  • Provide academic leadership for delivery of the University of Huddersfield’s taught courses and Study Group’s pathway courses.
  • Own the School’s teaching and learning and research strategies.
  • Own professional body accreditation and compliance, including AACSB and BCS.
  • Implement University of Huddersfield quality assurance procedures and monitor compliance with academic regulations.
  • Lead academic teams and manage direct reports using Study Group’s development and human resources processes.
  • Recruit academic staff with the qualifications and experience required to comply with accreditation conditions.
  • Plan teaching-resource allocation within an agreed budget and workload allocations.
  • Organise peer observations and use feedback, higher-education trends, and practice to create annual personal development plans.
  • Promote scholarly activity and research opportunities, support and mentor academics, and liaise with the University of Huddersfield on related projects and programmes.
  • Manage effective academic delivery of all courses in accordance with validation and course definitive documents.
  • Ensure the virtual learning environment framework and standards are effectively managed and consistently implemented.
  • Monitor academic indicators and outcomes and ensure timely, impactful interventions.
  • Implement quality assurance procedures and ensure course delivery complies with Study Group, University of Huddersfield, and external-agency frameworks and codes of practice.
  • Manage assessment security and integrity, ensure effective assessment feedback, and handle academic impropriety cases fairly.
  • Co-lead the course committee and Student Panel, including chairing meetings and ensuring minutes are recorded and provided to the University of Huddersfield.
  • Contribute to annual evaluation processes and reports and maintain records for Quality Assurance Agency reviews.
  • Provide reports, data, and recommendations to partnership and academic governance meetings.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with University of Huddersfield contacts regarding curriculum, assessment, and quality policies.
  • Facilitate interaction between University of Huddersfield staff and centre academics.
  • Represent the partnership, develop partner relations, and identify collaboration opportunities with the University of Huddersfield main campus.

Its programs combine English language courses with pathway programs that build language and academic skills for university admission. Unlike standalone language schools, its centres are integrated with universities and tied to degree pathways, expanding access through a global network of partner campuses. KSH International raises ₹213cr from anchor investors ahead of ₹710cr IPO

KSH International Limited, India's third-largest magnet winding wire manufacturer by production capacity, has raised Rs 213 crore from anchor investors ahead of its initial public offering opening on 16 December. The company allocated 55.47 lakh equity shares at Rs 384 per share to anchor investors. Participants included HSBC Global Investment Funds, Societe Generale, Kotak Mahindra Life Insurance and Edelweiss Life Insurance. Amongst mutual funds, HDFC, Kotak, LIC and Bank of Baroda schemes received allocations. The IPO comprises a fresh issue of Rs 420 crore and an offer-for-sale of Rs 290 crore by promoters, totalling Rs 710 crore at the upper price band. Founded in 1981, the company is also India's largest exporter of magnet winding wires by revenue. ICICI Securities and Nuvama Wealth Management are managing the offer.

Study Group has signed a new student recruitment partnership with the University of Wisconsin-Stout, adding a 13th U.S. institution to its portfolio. The agreement will see Study Group support international recruitment for both undergraduate and graduate programs.
