Within team: Grid response Integration and Modeling, for Heavy-Duty and Aeroderivative and services upgrade projects, (50 or 60 Hz):
The "Grid-code Integration Leader" is accountable for engineering teams' coordination related to grid code activities.
Is GE Vernova technical grid code representative for internal and external (Customers, partners, grid operators, certification bodies; …) parties of the projects.
Job Description
Essentials responsibilities:
Over the entire project's duration, for technical Grid code activities, the Grid-code Integration Leader is responsible for:
Lead projects with different level of complexity, coordinate autonomously technical project teams (transversal lead) and interact with other GE Vernova projects teams to ensure globalized and synchronized organization and deliverables.
Analyze contract technical requirements (product specificities, scope, schedule) ensure related compliance for technical grid code deliverables.
Communicate projects requirements to Grid-code engineering related team.
Lead launching meetings, coordinate engineering teams to master key steps such as: Model, simulations, Certificates of conformity, site test procedures, on-site tests.
Lead potential SW&L (purchasing) related to above activities.
Ensure compliance with project deadlines and costs (including for tasks involving NPI)
Ensure the consistency of inter-team deliverables/answers.
Anticipate and manage technical risks related to the project, coordinate the implementation of appropriate action plans.
Analyze lessons learned to advise/support ITO on strategies to adopt to limit risks for future projects.
Over the project management:
Stay informed of the latest product, working methods trends.
Accountable to reach own individual objectives/priorities.
Regularly propose improvement ideas related to standard works and/or team performance.
Participate to improvement initiatives.
Act as per Lean concept philosophy.
In addition to that:
May also be required to lead Grid Code studies.
Qualifications
Mandatory:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electromechanical engineering or Project Management (ideally in international environment) or relevant studies/experience
4-5 years' experience in changing environment, leading/managing priorities.
4-5 years' experience in thermal power plant, turbomachines, grid codes, electrical networks and associated requirements and challenges.
Available to travel usually for short period.
Desired:

Analytic, autonomy, resilience skill.
Capability to work in multicultural environment and leading several projects (priorities) in parallel.
Excellent communication skill, direct experience with customers.
Team spirit, responsiveness, adaptability to evaluating environment.
Knowledge of computers and calculation software such as Etap, Matlab, PSS-E, PSCAD, etc
Knowledge of network architectures, and ideally of the acquisition and digitization of signals and data.

For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is $98,400 - $131,200 USD Annual.
The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This Lead Professional Band position is also eligible for a variable incentive bonus of 10%.
*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
