Requirements
- Associate degree in a technical field preferred. H.S. Diploma or equivalent required
- 3+ years relevant work experience or training required. 5+ years related experience without Associate degree required
- Experience with AS9100 or ISO9001 Quality Management Systems
- Experience with microscopic visual inspection
- Experience with mechanical measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
- Experience with ERP and PLM software systems
- Proficiency with reading engineering documents, CAD drawings, and detailed work instructions
- Strong digital, written, and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with others in a positive and collaborative manner
Responsibilities
- Executing Quality Control processes associated with purchased product, manufacturing operations, and customer quality requirements
- Incoming inspection of raw materials and components using LCR meters
- Inspection of printed circuit boards / assemblies (PCB / PCBAs), verification of electrical, electronic, and electromechanical (EEE) components, and cable assemblies
- Inspection of mechanical hardware using calipers, micrometers, height gages, thread gages, and CMMs
- Generate documentation of inspection activities using electronic information systems, written logs, and labels
- Maintenance of monitoring and measuring equipment, maintaining the supplies, integrity, and cleanliness of QC inspection areas
- Assist in the development, maintenance, and improvements of inspection methods, inspection plans, and internal quality procedures and processes
- Assist in data analysis and reporting of department metrics as required
- Assist with the control and disposition of non-conforming material (MRB)
- Drive scheduling of day-to-day processes; ensure timely and accurate turnaround
- Assist with the continuous improvement initiatives
- Other QC duties as assigned
