Experience in leading development processes for assigned projects, ensuring timely deliverables and realized objectives
Proven project management and superior communication skills
Demonstrated ability to advise customers and internal teams on complex technical matters, and the ability to communicate effectively with non-technical individuals
Strong technical knowledge and understanding of three or more of the following programming languages: JavaScript, Python, Java, XML, PERL, UNIX Shell Scripting, and SQL
Experience in developing with product APIs and integrating complex systems
Proficiency with Docker/Kubernetes containers
Experience with ELT/ETL tools such as Talend, Informatica
Proven ability to quickly learn and adapt to a dynamic environment

Responsibilities

Develop and build product based technical solutions for customers and prospects
Advise on-boarding customers on technical solution options that meet their mission needs, balancing best practices, regulatory limitations, and an evolving platform
Serve as a main point of contact for technical issues and requests coming from potential customers and stakeholders
Review system API documentation to understand system integration capabilities
Develop application integrations via product APIs
Work with cross-functional teams of business, sales, technology, and product leaders to understand and document requirements for system integrations and advise integration paths for optimal results
Provide input to long term technology roadmaps for product and supporting system integrations
Understand and communicate level of effort, so that pricing and timing of completion of system integrations can be effectively communicated by the Delivery Team to the client
Use agile delivery methods to define, design, develop, test and release of product based solutions
Work closely with Application Architects and various Application teams who are responsible for interfaces to backend data
Create and support analytics tools to determine usage, statistics and other metrics in support of client use of Exiger Federal Solution systems
Develop batch automation tools for autonomous client usage, as well as running of batch files for clients

Exiger Government Solutions seeks a Solutions Engineer that focuses implementing Exiger’s software for our Federal clients. The Solutions Engineer is responsible for understanding client needs, developing compelling client-oriented demonstrations and proofs of concepts, developing implementation plans specific to each client, managing product implementations, configuring the software, and developing customizations/integrations as required.

The Solutions Engineer is a proven technology professional who has experience in implementing advanced integrations between our platforms and our client’s in-house systems, both SaaS and on-premises deployments. This hands-on role will interact with the Sales Team, Implementation Team, Product Development Team, and clients in order to gather requirements, design solutions, and execute integrations and customizations.

The individual performing this role will specialize in the following: Designing customer specific solutions using Exiger products; Demonstrating product based solutions to customer missions; Creating data flows and technical requirements documents; Assisting the implementation process with technical items; Assisting the implementation process with coordinating requests from the clients and prospects to the Product Development Team; Providing expertise in Exiger software; Providing configuration expertise; and Integrating with client and third-party applications using product APIs and custom technical solutions.

This position requires the ability to innovate, analyze, plan, organize, implement, and manage projects to ensure maximum efficiency.
