What you’ll be doing…
The Global Design Director at Wallpaper* will be responsible for creating, managing, and editing daily design content, ensuring it aligns with the publication’s high standards and digital strategy. You’ll lead a team of creatives, develop audience engagement strategies, and stay abreast of design trends to keep content relevant.
Additionally, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the brand’s strategy, seeking commercial opportunities, and representing the publication at industry events worldwide. You’ll also be using analytics to refine content strategy and maintaining the brand’s voice and identity.
Experience that will put you ahead of the curve…
- Understanding of the commercial aspects of a multi-channel media brand.
- Experience leading a team of creatives.
- Interest in, and understanding of, the design industry.
- Experience managing the end-to-end editorial process, from idea generation to final publication.
- Background in implementing and building brand strategy.

The expected range for this role is £33,000 - £56,000.
This is a Hybrid role from our London Office, working three days from the office, two from home.
This is a fixed-term contract role for maternity cover.
