Responsibilities
  • Cash checks and disburse funds after verifying signatures and sufficient funds for withdrawals.
  • Accept deposits and confirm transaction accuracy.
  • Evaluate checks for endorsements, dates, identification of payment recipients, bank names, and overall legality.
  • Prepare, verify, and issue cashier’s checks, bank money orders, and similar official items.
  • Balance cash drawers at the end of shifts and accept and count daily inventories of cash and official items.
  • Maintain a work area that protects negotiable instruments and confidential records.
  • Conduct credit and debit transactions, including cash payments and receipts, checking and savings deposits and withdrawals, endorsements, and loan transactions.
  • Meet regulatory requirements in a timely manner, including Currency Transaction Reports.
  • Maintain an adequate cash supply while keeping the teller area secure and following security policies and procedures.
  • Verify night depository envelopes and bags and maintain accurate transaction logs.
  • Provide customer service and platform support, including opening checking accounts, savings accounts, and certificates of deposit.
  • Cross-sell products and services, proactively inform clients about product benefits and requirements, profile clients to identify financial needs, and make referrals when appropriate.
  • Cross-sell and make referrals to other lines of business to generate new business and deepen existing client relationships.
  • Participate in client onboarding and campaigns, including calling clients.
  • Deliver customer service to bank customers.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Third Coast Bancshares, Inc. announces sale of Third Coast Commercial Capital, Inc. assets. HOUSTON, July 13, 2026 /PRNewswire/ - Third Coast Bancshares, Inc. (NYSE and NYSE Texas: TCBX), ("Third Coast" or the "Company"), the holding company of Third Coast Bank (the "Bank"), today announced that it closed the sale of substantially all of the assets of Third Coast Commercial Capital, Inc. ("TCCC"), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Bank, to Gulf Coast Bank & Trust Company ("Gulf Coast"), effective as of June 25, 2026. "This transaction represents an important step in the continued evolution of our balance sheet strategy," said Bart Caraway, Founder, Chairman, President and CEO of Third Coast. "The sale of our TCCC assets allows us to monetize the existing portfolio while maintaining a meaningful ongoing relationship with a strong, experienced partner. We believe this structure provides immediate capital benefits while preserving our ability to continue supporting clients who value access to factoring solutions." The transaction provides for total consideration of approximately $27.5 million at closing, and a gain of $3.5 million, along with a structured ongoing revenue share.
