Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent is required.
  • Typically requires at least 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong experience developing, managing, and automating deployments for complex web applications deployed to Microsoft Azure cloud environment.
  • In-depth understanding of software development process and workflows.
  • Strong experience monitoring cloud-based applications for errors and performance.
  • Strong experience with software design, ETL techniques, writing complex stored procedures, query optimization, data synchronization, code refactoring, DevOps, CI/CD, continuous testing, and version control.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and have strong coordination, organization, and communication skills.
  • Ability to define, design, and implement an automated continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) system.
  • Ability to develop a working knowledge of ABS Rules, Guides, statutory regulations, and related instructions, as well as the ABS Employee Safety Policy.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the technical vision for Freedom web application using Microsoft Azure stack and other relevant technology.
  • Assign work and guide a team of product developers who are working on several client projects simultaneously.
  • Develop, test, and debug new modules and enhancements for ABS Freedom.
  • Contribute to an agile project team to help understand and document client requirements, estimate work, develop new solutions, and enhance existing solutions.
  • Actively conduct code reviews and facilitate peer code reviews to enhance quality.
  • Work closely with the team to create/maintain an automated CI/CD software pipeline.
  • Mentor product developers to grow their technical skills.
  • Build and maintain end-to-end deployment automation, monitoring, and cloud infrastructure management, as well as other internal tools to streamline the development process and enhance productivity.
  • Promote and collaborate on development and coding best practices.
  • Research new technologies and create software architecture strategies to meet defined business objectives, including but not limited to minimizing cloud infrastructure cost.
