Requirements
  • Minimum of five years experience in production, maintenance, or project management.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems using formal techniques to evaluate systems, equipment, and processes.
  • Strong computer based analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems and make decisions independently.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and implement projects which improve the operational effectiveness of a process.
  • Experience using Reliability Centered Maintenance techniques, cause analysis, and predictive maintenance technologies such as vibration analysis, infrared, acoustic emissions, tribology, etc.
Responsibilities
  • Coordinates and conducts Maintenance and Reliability activities within criteria and timeframes identified in internal and external Maintenance & Reliability requirements; using established protocols assesses Maintenance & Reliability requirements and coordinates necessary follow-up.
  • Liaises with facility management, work force, contractors, community, and local regulators on routine communications.
  • Performs failure fact finding using professional engineering principles on downtime related events for defined critical assets.
  • Develops and implements strategies to identify, prioritize, and engineer proactive maintenance and asset reliability improvement processes and projects.
  • Involved in the facility maintenance budget process and is responsible for using maintenance and reliability principles to improve the facility costs and productivity.
  • Uses leadership and expertise in the principles of Root Cause Analysis and Reliability Centered Maintenance to create an environment of continuous asset reliability improvement.
  • Review and monitor 5WCA completion and subsequent results for effectiveness of root cause identification of failures. Escalation of root cause elimination where root cause is not known
  • Resource for the facility on RCA
  • Identify, investigate, develop and implement required actions, utilizing engineering practices to prevent & eliminate defects in critical plant assets
  • Develops M&R management systems to achieve compliance and continuously improve performance.
  • Collaborate with Site leadership, operations, commercial staff as required to develop and implement appropriate responsive programs for asset management
  • Coordinate and act as a resource for M&R training for facility personnel
  • Leads development and implementation of M&R strategies to achieve business and customer objectives with new assets added to the facility
Desired Qualifications
  • Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP).
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical, or other related engineering/technical field (preferred).
