Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree or higher in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field; equivalent professional experience is considered.
  • Proven experience as a Business Intelligence Developer, Business Intelligence Analyst, or in a similar role, with demonstrated delivery of enterprise Business Intelligence solutions.
  • Experience delivering end-to-end reporting solutions from requirements confirmation through production support.
  • Advanced hands-on expertise with Power BI, including Tabular models, Data Analysis Expressions, and semantic modeling.
  • A strong understanding of medallion architecture, including bronze, silver, and gold layers, and how Business Intelligence consumes governed enterprise data.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric and its role alongside Power BI in a modern enterprise Business Intelligence platform.
  • Advanced Structured Query Language and Transact-SQL skills, including queries, stored procedures, functions, data definition language, and data manipulation language, for data wrangling and reporting on large data volumes.
  • Working knowledge of extract, transform, and load or extract, load, and transform patterns, including Azure Data Factory, Databricks, SQL Server Integration Services, or equivalent tools.
  • Working knowledge of the Azure data stack as it supports the Business Intelligence layer.
  • Strong proficiency in data modeling, including entity-relationship diagrams, workflow diagrams, and dimensional Kimball modeling.
  • Working knowledge of data constructs including data types, normalization, data quality analysis, and efficient Business Intelligence modeling.
  • Understanding of data governance, security, and access as they apply to enterprise Business Intelligence and certified data sources.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness to explore and understand new and modern Business Intelligence and analytics tools.
  • Collaboration with Data Engineers, fellow Business Intelligence Developers, and end users.
Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain enterprise dashboards and reports in Power BI using governed enterprise data.
  • Deliver end-to-end reporting solutions, including requirements confirmation, data sourcing, cleansing, normalization, and reporting.
  • Develop, automate, and run user-friendly dashboards and reports.
  • Handle report operations, refreshes, and defect resolution for the enterprise Business Intelligence layer.
  • Build and improve Microsoft Tabular semantic models and metric definitions to support reporting requirements.
  • Implement enrichment metric calculations and segment classifications that feed central dashboards.
  • Assist with logical and physical data modeling to support business initiatives in partnership with Data Engineers.
  • Apply consistency and quality checks to metrics and semantic models before release.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity in dashboards and reports through disciplined testing and validation.
  • Monitor automated extract, transform, and load and Business Intelligence processes for successes and failures.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to resolve dashboard, model, and data delivery issues.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting to Business Intelligence end users.
  • Collaborate with end users to identify needs and opportunities for improved data management and delivery.
  • Partner with the Data Engineering team on shared pipelines, models, and metric definitions.
  • Partner with fellow Business Intelligence Developers on modeling standards and metric definitions.
  • Provide training and support to end users on Business Intelligence tools, dashboards, and reports.
  • Document dashboard purpose, metric definitions, data sources, and refresh dependencies as part of the definition of done.
  • Follow documentation standards established by the Business Intelligence Delivery Leader and Enterprise Data Architect.
  • Contribute dashboard and semantic model metadata to the enterprise catalog.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in retail, consumer goods, or manufacturing analytics environments where point-of-sale, sell-in, inventory, and third-party retail data are core.
  • Understanding of retail metrics including turns, gross margin return on investment, margin, and category performance.
  • Experience with Python, PowerShell, or other scripting languages for data automation.
  • Familiarity with Databricks Unity Catalog, data lineage, and observability tools.
  • Familiarity with modern DataOps, Business Intelligence operations, Agile, or Kanban delivery practices.

Masco appoints Brad Hiranaga as CMO to drive enterprise growth strategy

Masco Corporation has appointed Brad Hiranaga as chief marketing officer, a newly created role designed to strengthen the company's enterprise growth platform. Hiranaga will report to president and chief executive officer Jon Nudi and join the executive committee. The position consolidates marketing, commercial excellence, digital acceleration and customer capabilities under single leadership. This structure aims to leverage insights, scale best practices and accelerate innovation across Masco's brand portfolio. Hiranaga brings over 25 years of experience in brand growth and business transformation. He joins from Marriott International, where he served as senior vice president, global brand, experience & design. Previously, he spent more than 15 years at General Mills, ultimately serving as chief marketing officer, and later held the chief brand officer position at Cotopaxi.

Masco Q2 earnings beat estimates by 26% despite revenue missing forecasts

Masco reported Q2 revenue of $1.99 billion, down 2.9% year-over-year, missing the consensus estimate by 4.64%. However, earnings per share came in at $1.64, beating the $1.30 estimate by 26.15%. The home improvement manufacturer's plumbing products division generated $1.34 billion in net sales, up 1.9% from last year but below analyst expectations. Decorative architectural products posted $655 million in sales, down 11.3% year-over-year and significantly missing the $710.86 million estimate. Despite the mixed results, operating profit in both divisions exceeded analyst projections. Plumbing products reported $361 million in adjusted operating profit, whilst decorative architectural products posted $148 million. Masco shares have risen 0.3% over the past month.

FM Mattsson acquires Bristan for £49 million.

FM Mattsson acquires Bristan for £49 million. 28 July 2026 FM Mattsson Group has agreed to acquire UK brassware supplier Bristan Group Limited from Masco for £49 million. Bristan Group includes Bristan and Heritage Bathrooms, and has been under Masco ownership since 2002. It supplies installers, specifiers, wholesale channel partners and DIY and online retailers, employs around 280 people and has delivered revenue of £63 million. Bristan will become part of FM Mattsson Group and continue to operate as a brand-led business with its own management team. In 2025, the Nasdaq Stockholm listed FM Mattsson Group generated sales of 2 billion SEK from its companies in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Benelux, UK, Germany and Italy and had 557 employees. The transaction is expected to further diversify FM Mattsson Group's geographical presence and provide opportunities for development of the Group's offering, customer relationships and operational capabilities in the UK market. Bristan joins FM Mattsson Group's existing UK and Ireland business Aqualla which is positioned in retail and consumer-led bathroom products. "The acquisition of Bristan is a major step in line with its strategy to strengthen FM Mattsson Group's international presence through strong brands. "Bristan is established as the no. 1 brassware supplier in the UK and is known for its high level of customer service and broad product offering, particularly for the professional market. Masco appoints Brad Hiranaga as chief marketing officer. by Matt Baker 27 July, 2026 Masco Corporation has appointed Brad Hiranaga as its new chief marketing officer, a newly created role that the company said is designed to support the next phase of its enterprise growth strategy. Effective immediately, Hiranaga joins the home improvement products manufacturer from Marriott International, where he most recently served as senior vice-president of global experience design. Before that, he was chief brand officer at General Mills and held senior marketing positions during more than 20 years with Procter & Gamble. In his new position, Hiranaga will report directly to Masco president and chief executive officer Jon Nudi and will lead the company's enterprise marketing strategy, brand building and consumer engagement initiatives across its portfolio of brands. The move forms part of Masco's wider strategy to strengthen its commercial capabilities and support long-term growth. Commenting on the appointment, Jon Nudi said: "Brad is a transformational marketing leader with an exceptional track record of building iconic brands, deepening consumer engagement and driving business growth. "His experience and strategic vision will help accelerate our enterprise growth strategy and further strengthen the competitive advantage of our leading brands."
