Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, computer science, economics, or related technical discipline.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) preferred or AWS/Azure
  • Experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Certification in one or more cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
  • Experience with maintaining hybrid cloud solutions.
  • Experience using GitLab for continuous integration and continuous deployment and automated deployments.
  • Strong familiarity using Linux toolsets to support and analyze network related topics and issues.
  • GCP Professional Cloud Architect certification or equivalent (preferred).
  • Previous government technology experience.
  • Demonstrated experience with United States Army technology, systems, and command & control policies and procedures.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and working with Agile teams.
  • Experience designing and deploying solutions in Google Cloud Platform environments (preferred).
  • Familiarity with GCP services such as GKE, Cloud Run, BigQuery, IAM.
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance, for which you must be a U.S. citizen.
Responsibilities
  • Evaluating cloud-based technical solutions/designs in accordance with client requirements.
  • Provide expertise to monitor the designing and engineering of infrastructure and applications to the cloud.
  • Responsible for client’s overall cloud experience, including being the engineering point-of-contact for resolving reported performance or delivery issues.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all vendor cloud solutions comply with industry and Government-mandated security protocols, controls, and best-practices.
  • Work closely with Cybersecurity resources to document controls, support accreditation, Interim Authorization to Test (IATT) and Authority to Operate (ATO) documentation and provide metrics to comply with audits.
  • Escalating issues, problems, risks, and constraints to the appropriate levels for clarification and resolution.
  • Administer and monitor IL4/IL5/IL6 cloud accounts and performance levels.
  • Build parent and child accounts or organizations within an IL4/IL5/IL6 environment.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of AWS products and capabilities.
  • Perform unsupervised, hands-on work in gov-cloud environments.
  • Work independently within team environments to set up and maintain cloud architectures.
  • Manage multiple and competing customer priorities with little supervision.
  • Develop High Availability and Disaster Recovery processes in accordance with government and industry guidelines.
  • Help establish DevSecOps Pipelines within the Gov-Cloud Framework.
  • Design and deploy solutions within Google Cloud Platform environments, including project/org structure, IAM, and networking.
  • Build and manage containerized workloads using GKE or Cloud Run.
  • Support data pipelines leveraging BigQuery, Pub/Sub, or Dataflow.
Desired Qualifications

  • Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional
  • Experience working in IL6 or equivalent secure environments.
  • Experience with security requirements in a federal IT environment, including FedRAMP-certified providers and FISMA requirements for acquiring an ATO.
  • Agile certifications
  • Experience with Cross-Domain Solutions (IL4 to IL6)
  • Experience with GCP in regulated or government environments
  • Multi-cloud architecture experience (AWS + GCP)
