Requirements
  • Experience with children is mandatory for the position.
  • Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario as a Registered Nurse in good standing is required.
  • A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle are required.
  • Required on-call coverage, including after-hours coverage, is required to ensure patient safety and meet patient care needs.
Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' individualized needs using appropriate assessment tools and techniques.
  • Execute and continuously monitor care plans.
  • Engage patients through a collaborative approach by building rapport and trust.
  • Maintain and update professional patient records related to patient encounters and care plans.
  • Provide community pediatric shift nursing and scheduled visits in patients' homes and other care settings.
  • Travel to and from patient residences within a designated area.
