  • Education: BS degree of Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering or related field
  • Experience: 8+ years of engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or standards-focused role
  • Strong understanding of engineering documentation, CAD tools, and PLM systems
  • Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., ASME, MIL, UL, ISO) and regulatory requirements
  • Experience developing and implementing engineering standards across multiple product lines
  • Experience working in a matrixed organization
  • Travel: 5-10%
Responsibilities
  • Develops and maintains engineering standards, specifications, and best practices.
  • Leads cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of standards with product and business goals.
  • Evaluates and integrates industry standards and regulatory requirements into internal processes.
  • Drives standardization efforts across product platforms to improve efficiency and reduce cost.
  • Provides technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams on standards and compliance.
  • Collaborates with quality and regulatory teams to ensure product certifications and audits are supported.
  • Monitors emerging technologies and standards to keep the organization at the forefront of innovation.
  • Supports continuous improvement initiatives and root cause analysis for product.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • PMP Certification from Project Management Institute (PMI) preferred.
  • Proven experience in renewable energy product development (e.g., solar, wind, energy storage) (preferred)
  • Knowledge/experience in the energy and datacenter markets (preferred)
