Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in retirement plan consulting and design, recordkeeping or third-party administration, or a related industry.
  • Strong technical expertise in retirement plan design, administration, fiduciary responsibilities, and investment lineup analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver consultative client service and translate benchmarking and data into practical recommendations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills, including comfort briefing senior leadership.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and common reporting and benchmarking tools.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for a portfolio of retirement plan clients.
  • Own client relationships and work closely with plan sponsors and their leadership teams.
  • Conduct detailed plan assessments covering plan design, service providers, fees, investments, compliance risks, and participant behavior.
  • Create objective recommendations aligned with client goals.
  • Lead requests for proposals, vendor selection, and plan conversions.
  • Coordinate implementation with carriers, recordkeepers, third-party administrators, and internal specialists.
  • Provide investment advisory and fiduciary support, including customized investment guidance, education, plan reviews, regulatory and legislative updates, and issue resolution.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders using benchmarking and market data.
  • Use cross-practice resources to articulate the organization's full value.
  • Identify expansion opportunities and support business growth through referrals and business development activities.
Desired Qualifications

  • AIF certification or equivalent experience.
  • Prior experience managing requests for proposals, recordkeeper or vendor selection, and plan conversions.
