Requirements
- 12+ years of experience across HRBP, HR generalist, learning & development roles in high-growth, tech-driven companies
- 8+ years experience managing teams, including managing managers
- Demonstrated experience building and leading performance management, learning & development, and talent management programs
- Direct experience partnering with senior leaders and executives
- Built or matured an HRBP function, personally delivering high-quality partnership and effectively leading organizational change
- Have successfully built and led diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives
- Experience in start-up/high-growth companies and in established, mature functions - you know what it can look like at scale and what's needed now
- Demonstrated results in building highly effective and engaged remote teams
- Balance of leadership presence with approachability, ability to build strong relationships, exceptional communicator and presenter
- Proactively identify opportunities and implement appropriate solutions
- Resourceful; able to prioritize and flex to quickly adjust to changing priorities
- Trusted advisor and confidante, acting with unquestioned integrity, discretion and confidentiality
- Strong working knowledge of employment law and compliance requirements
- Expert employee relations experience in distributed teams
- Great balance of strategic focus and vision with practical execution

Responsibilities
- Coaching and advising HRBPs on employee relations matters
- Developing and implementing a comprehensive learning strategy to build strong people leaders
- Partnering with leaders on organizational strategy and talent management
- Supporting onboarding of new leaders and team facilitation
- Partnering with the HR leadership team to develop and deliver integrated DEIB strategy
- Building playbooks for highly engaged remote teams
- Identifying and implementing HR operational improvements and collaborating with other HR functions to align on processes related to Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, etc
- Sharing, advising, and being a thought leader in the areas of employee experience, engagement, retention, and recognition
- Building capability in positive employee relations, enabling our leaders and teams to do their best work in a supportive and productive environment
- Cross-functional sharing of information to deepen business relationships and people team effectiveness
- Partnering closely with Finance & HR leadership to strengthen business performance through effective programs for attracting and retaining high caliber talent
- Identifying top talent and working with leadership to accelerate development and readiness for broader roles
Desired Qualifications
- Direct experience supporting or establishing teams outside the US is a plus
- Public and private sector experience, tech and/or insurance industry desirable
