View

Freebridge Community Housing is a not-for-profit social housing provider that owns and manages about 7,500 homes in West Norfolk, including general needs housing and 17 sheltered schemes. It acts as a landlord, handles tenancies, collects rent, and maintains properties, while investing in regeneration and energy-efficiency projects, with Bridgegate Homes helping fund its work. In 2024 it secured £40 million from Lloyds Bank to build 625 new affordable homes by 2027 and upgrade existing stock. The group runs two community centres and a Community Fund to support local groups, aiming to grow affordable housing and improve tenants’ living conditions and community wellbeing, guided by a tenant-led stock transfer origin and a focus on community development.
