Since spinning out of a large brokerage firm in 2016, DV Trading has rapidly scaled as an independent proprietary trading firm utilizing its own capital, trading strategies, and risk management methodologies to provide liquidity to worldwide financial markets and hedging opportunities to commodity producers and users. DV Equities is a growing division specializing in trading equities and equity derivatives across key markets in the US, Europe, and Asia. By utilizing proprietary trading strategies and cutting-edge systems, DV Equities has become a strong presence in the global equities landscape, constantly adapting to changing market dynamics.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with senior equity traders to gain hands-on experience and insights
• Learn and iterate on proprietary trading systems and techniques that power our equity trading operations
• Develop and manage quantitative models that enhance trading strategies
• Refine existing strategies and uncover new opportunities in the market

• 0-2 years of experience; keen interest in financial markets
• BA in Finance, Math or related discipline  
• Strong work ethic and ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and diligence
• Strong background in mathematics, probability, and statistical analysis
• Proficient in Python, SQL, and statistical modeling; additional programming skills are a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
