Requirements
  • Minimum 7 years of Fiber procurement experience
  • Minimum 4 years of leadership experience
  • Intimate working knowledge of logging operations
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics/supply chain management, operations management, engineering, or forestry
  • Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills
  • Analytical skills to digest data and create actionable insights
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, One Drive, PowerBI
  • Experience in LIMS or aptitude to learn
  • Natural leadership ability
  • High attention to detail

  • Self-starter with ability to prioritize workload
  • Interpersonal, technical aptitude, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities
  • Procuring the lowest cost fiber mix to support plant operations
  • Providing continuous, uninterrupted fiber supply
  • Maintaining a zero incident workplace
  • Meeting all Sustainability and sourcing requirements
  • Developing Regional Fiber Supply strategy
  • Executing and adjusting strategy based on results
  • Utilizing data and analytical tools for decision-making
  • Creating and managing tools and processes for fiber supply plans
  • Building relationships with supply base
  • Leading the Fiber Commodity Managers
  • Providing leadership and resolving employee issues
  • Following safety procedures
  • Ensuring proper training and execution of responsibilities by direct reports
  • Effectively communicating within the organization
