Requirements
  • Masters Degree in Social Work
  • Valid New York State Registration as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
  • At least one year of full-time post-graduate experience in facilitation of family team conferences or related areas
  • Valid New York State Registration as a Licensed Master of Social Work (LMSW) with at least three years of relevant experience
  • At least three years of experience in related areas
  • Obtain LCSW or LMSW within one year of appointment
Responsibilities
  • Attend and facilitate all Family Team Conferences (FTC)
  • Address critical issues and concerns of children and families during conferences
  • Make recommendations for referrals and resources
  • Prepare and complete administrative functions including documentation and reports
  • Interface with interagency critical support resources
  • Provide case conferencing and consultation
  • Conduct conferencing in the family's natural community when appropriate
