Nurse Practitioner - NP – Cardiothoracic Surgery - Outpatient
Cardiothoracic Surgery nursing at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital means tackling complex cases by utilizing rare technology to deliver quality centered patient care with a finely tuned collaborative team. Across screening, diagnosis, treatment and care, our nurses drive the sharing of knowledge and best practices that makes life-changing differences for patients. The Nurse Practitioner for Cardiothoracic Surgery is responsible for planning, evaluating, managing, and delivering patient centered care. You will be a vital member to the Cardiothoracic Surgery team. Your direction and coordination will deeply impact the delivery of quality patient care to our patients.
Preferred Criteria:
Previous RN or NP experience in Cardiothoracic Surgery preferred
Required Criteria
Master’s Degree in Nursing
New York State Registered Nurse License and Adult, Acute Care or Family Nurse Practitioner License
Board Certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association
