We are looking for a talented Director of Property Management for Link Parks to join our team of leaders. In this integral role, you will lead the Property Management function in Southern California for Link Parks, Link Logistics’ business parks division. You will lead and manage a regional team of Senior Property Managers, Property Managers, Associate Property Managers, and Property Management Administrators across Southern California, and report to the head of the region. Empowered with approval authority, you’ll ensure your property management team’s success in providing an exceptional customer experience in the region and ensure the financial and physical health of a large regional property portfolio.
What you’ll do:
The most critical aspect of your role is to lead the way when it comes to customer experience. You will uphold our belief that customers are our greatest asset, and you will challenge employees to invest time and resources into nurturing customer relationships. You will also:
Oversee all property management personnel in the region, including performance management, development, and hiring of the team
Lead a high-performing and customer-focused team by ensuring regular completion of all procedural initiatives, communicating consistently, and solving problems creatively while fostering a team atmosphere
Review and manage annual budgets in compliance with Link accounting policies and procedures and ensure capital improvement projects are completed on time, at competitive cost, and in line with market trends and expectations
Ensure your team’s properties stand out to our current and future customers and meet Link’s rigorous standards of quality and presentation through regular, documented property inspections which include evaluating all building equipment, systems, vacancies, and grounds
Identify, review, and negotiate capital work or recurring service contracts at the market and regional levels to ensure scale, cost-savings, and consistent scope of work
Address repairs and maintenance needs throughout the region and develop cost reduction solutions and/or process improvements along the way
Facilitate the completion of due diligence requests for special projects including onboarding and offboarding of properties

10+ years of property or building management experience handling building issues, capital and tenant improvement projects, customer service and administrative issues.
3+ years of leadership experience
Ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships with numerous people, both inside and outside the organization
Proficiency in MS Office and enthusiasm for adopting new technology solutions. Experience with Yardi strongly preferred
Ability to effectively manage budgets and reporting requirements
Ability to interpret documents such as leases, service contracts, plans and specifications, operating and maintenance instructions, and/or procedural manuals
Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced work environment while managing competing deadlines. Self-motivation, determination, accountability, and initiative in a team environment are critical
BA or BS in Finance, Real Estate, Business Management, or a related field preferred, and CPM/RPA designation preferred
Ability to travel regionally within Southern California up to 60% of the time and be present at your properties and for your team, with periodic (quarterly or semi-annually) travel outside of the region
Physical Demands:
Nature of work requires an ability to effectively communicate and exchange information; collect, compile, organize and prepare work documents; operate standard business equipment; and work at construction sites including ascending/descending roof ladders and maneuvering on uneven terrain.
Working Environment:
You will work primarily in an office environment but will also be expected to perform duties such as (but not limited to) touring properties and constructions sites. Be advised that you may experience adverse weather conditions, loud noise, and dust conditions at construction sites. Workdays or workweeks may require extended hours as business dictates.
Employees in this role should be located in the geographical market of the properties they cover and have full access to a personal vehicle (mileage reimbursement is provided)
$170,000 - $190,000 represents the presently anticipated base compensation pay range for this position at Link. Actual pay may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to location and experience. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus.
