Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A valid driver's license with no major violations is required.
  • Must be flexible to work outside regular hours and on weekends during events.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, bend, kneel, crouch, stoop, reach, and twist.
  • Must be able to push, pull, or lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must tolerate continuous repetitive movements and variable temperatures, noise levels, indoor and outdoor environments, vapors, hazards, dust, mites, chemicals, and biological hazards.
  • Must have problem-solving, time-management, communication, active-listening, organizational, multitasking, prioritization, and attention-to-detail abilities.
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and maintain reliable, professional, courteous conduct.
  • Must safely use cleaning chemicals and maintain cleaning equipment.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain common areas, including sidewalks, lobbies, restrooms, and public spaces, so they remain clean and presentable.
  • Complete daily cleaning and maintenance tasks according to assignments, cleaning checklists, procedures, and schedules.
  • Perform pressure washing in areas assigned by management.
  • Report to the assigned location before the work shift wearing the approved uniform.
  • Follow all safety regulations and cleaning standards.
  • Recognize, greet, and interact professionally with property staff, guests, residents, and visitors.
  • Support management teams with special cleaning or maintenance requests.
  • Keep the cleaning room and storage areas orderly, clean, and free of debris and hazards.
  • Complete required end-of-shift documentation and ensure an effective handoff to the next shift.
  • Assist with event or public-meeting setup and breakdown when required.
  • Monitor cleaning-supply inventory and ensure cleaning products are used safely and properly.
  • Notify management of situations requiring attention, safety hazards, maintenance issues, equipment damage, and other damage.
  • Follow cleaning schedules and checklists and attend team meetings affecting cleaning operations.
  • Cover coworkers' shifts during absences when necessary.
  • Address and resolve cleaning concerns promptly according to established guidelines.
  • Maintain equipment through regular maintenance and preventive care and report equipment damage.
  • Work weekends and outside regular hours during events or periods of high activity.
  • Perform other assigned duties.
