As the expert in Compliance Architecture, you are responsible for translating strategy and assisting with planning and governance for the specialism, supporting related operating practices and processes, providing expertise on the definition and implementation of relevant standards, communicating with a range of stakeholders, and providing highly advanced knowledge and advice to support wider business goals.

The successful candidate will have a track record around cloud compliance architecture with expert knowledge of cloud technical controls frameworks and how they can assist in regulatory governance and compliance requirements.

•Work closely with line of business teams, providing technical recommendations to improve their cloud compliance to meet applicable regulations and industry standards

•Support the development of cloud technical controls framework, using relevant tools, mapping requirements to specific regulation and industry standard requirements, identify gaps and recommending compensating controls.

•Provide compliance driven requirements to Architecture and Engineering teams, to support the design and implementation of necessary preventative controls and corrective actions

•Understand and provide guidance on the architectures and solutions to assist with addressing regulatory governance and compliance requirements

•Research, identify, design, and develop new information security or compliance controls and monitor adherence to them

•Provide input regarding best practices for the creation of next generation services focused on addressing and improving client’s governance and compliance requirements

•Educate and train employees on regulations and industry practices

•Experience in compliance in the finance services sector and financial regulations

•Prior experience implementing technical controls within cloud (Azure or AWS) to achieve and evidence compliance to above standards

•Experience of cloud security capabilities and native tools (Azure or AWS) and leveraging these to achieve compliance.

•Experienced using KUSTO query language and / or Cloud Security Posture Management Tools.

•Experience hosting/providing compliance consultations with Line of Business - relating this back to cloud-based technologies and capabilities.

•Knowledge of Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) best practices and guidelines.

•Experience translating laws and regulations into required compliance controls and collaborating from SME to C-Level.

•Risk and compliance certificate like GRCP, CRISC
