- Learning through on-the-job training to safely perform all aspects of arboriculture, including: Tree climbing; Pruning; Rigging; Cabling and bracing; Removal of hazardous trees; Tree identification; Properly maintaining and operating equipment (hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts); Implementing work zone safety procedures; Assisting Arborist Climbers and Arborist Crew Leaders working on the ground and aloft; Assisting with driving, backing, dumping, and parking duties; Learning, understanding, and adhering to all safety rules and company safety policies
- Prior tree care, landscaping, forestry, turf care, or horticulture experience is preferred but not required
- Degree in Arboriculture, Forestry, Horticulture, Turfgrass, Environmental Science, Plant Science, Outdoor Recreation, Agriculture or a related field is preferred but not required

Services include inventory management, pruning, fertilization, insect and disease suppression, soil management, lightning protection, cabling and bracing, and removals. How it works: skilled arborists assess trees and shrubs, then apply tailored treatments and maintenance—pruning to shape and improve health, fertilization and soil management to nourish roots, pest and disease control to protect vigor, lightning protection and cabling/bracing for risk mitigation, and removals when needed. How it differs: more than a century of experience and a comprehensive, full-service offering for both homes and businesses, covering preventive care, mitigation, and removal in one provider. Goal: help trees and shrubs stay healthy and beautiful assets on properties by giving them ongoing care and protection.
