Requirements
  • U.S. Citizenship is required, with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience, is required.
  • At least 16 years of relevant professional experience is required.
  • At least 2–3 years of strong Oracle Cloud Infrastructure-specific experience is required.
  • Extensive experience supporting large-scale federal programs is required.
  • Proven experience architecting and delivering secure cloud solutions in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is required.
  • Demonstrated experience with cross-domain data movement and secure system integration is required.
  • Experience designing and implementing architectures that meet Non-Class, IL5, and IL6 requirements is required.
  • Strong understanding of secure software development and federal compliance processes is required.
  • In-depth knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure services, architectures, and policies is required, including the ability to write OCI policies and work with their granular components.
  • Strong knowledge of identity, networking, computing, and command-line interfaces is required, along with the ability to set up a secure desktop.
  • Strong understanding of cross-domain solutions and secure data transfer mechanisms is required.
  • Familiarity with federal cybersecurity frameworks and OWASP security models is required.
  • Knowledge of DevSecOps methodologies and compliance-driven development is required.
  • Experience with architecture and security design for mission-critical federal systems is required.
  • Experience designing AI/ML solutions that operate on multimodal datasets is required.
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code development and automation is required.
  • Experience leading and mentoring engineering teams in complex technical environments is required.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders is required.
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, security scanning tools, secure software development life cycle practices, eMASS, Ansible, and Python is required.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the overall system architecture and technical design across Non-Class, IL5, and IL6 environments.
  • Define Oracle Cloud Infrastructure cloud architecture and security design in support of cross-domain data movement and mission operations.
  • Architect and guide solutions that enable secure data flows between classified and unclassified environments in alignment with federal cross-domain requirements.
  • Provide technical leadership and direction to engineering and DevSecOps teams throughout the system lifecycle.
  • Design and oversee AI/ML solutions capable of analyzing multimodal datasets, including text, imagery, signals, structured data, and unstructured data.
  • Ensure security architectures and implementations align with OWASP principles and federal cybersecurity requirements.
  • Oversee implementation and integration of source-code vulnerability-scanning technologies within CI/CD pipelines.
  • Interface directly with Oracle, subcontractors, and government stakeholders to ensure technical alignment and resolve issues.
  • Support security authorization and compliance activities, including documentation and artifacts required for eMASS.
  • Ensure architectures align with federal standards, customer requirements, and large-scale program constraints.
Desired Qualifications
  • An active U.S. Secret clearance, T3 Background Investigation, or higher is preferred.
  • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect Professional Certification is preferred but not required.
  • Experience with Terraform is preferred but not required.
