- A high school diploma or GED is required.

- Obtain high treatment acceptance by explaining treatment costs, insurance coverage, and financing options.
- Explain treatment plans and timelines to patients and families in clear, simple terms, address concerns, and answer questions.
- Present financing options, assist patients with affording care, educate them on insurance coverage and payment options, ensure timely payment collection, and manage outstanding balances.
- Schedule and confirm appointments.
- Maintain detailed patient records, including medical history and treatment in progress.
- Submit paperwork to insurance providers.
- Operate X-ray machines and assist with clinical tasks when required, if certified.
- Solicit referrals from patients after treatment and track satisfaction with the work provided.
- Adhere to government regulations, company standards, and company compliance programs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Work hours may change to meet business needs, and extended hours may be required during peak periods.
- Treatment Coordinator work experience in a dental practice, ideally with 3 or more years of experience in a dental or orthodontic environment and knowledge of orthodontic treatments.
- Three or more years of sales or customer service experience.
- Knowledge of dental insurance, payment financing, and self-pay collections.
- X-ray certification and CPR certification.
- Bilingual ability, with Spanish as a plus.
