The State Teachers Retirement System of Ohio (STRS Ohio) is seeking a Coordinator, Office Services to join the Office Services team.

Compensation:
$22.69 - $25.53/ hr.
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm
General Summary:
Under the direction of the manager, Office Services, perform duties of supervisor in office services. Oversee and monitor the workflow in the area; coordinate work assistance between the various specialties of office services, provide guidance and direction to office services associates, supervise work rotations and report to office services manager on the status of work in the area.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Monitor work productivity of team members to ensure STRS Ohio standards are met. Compile statistical data to measure accuracy and efficiency of the performance of individual team members and the team.
Provide leadership, coaching, mentoring and training for team members within office services.
Make recommendations for process improvements and supervise any enhancements to those processes.
Provide technical support and guidance to team members, assist them in handling complex and difficult cases and serve as the subject matter expert.
Participate in aspects of the Performance Management Process by providing input on annual accountabilities for associates based on goals of the department and projects defined in the annual plan, coaching and mentoring around accountabilities and competencies and participating in annual performance reviews.
Resolve escalated problems with customers and other internal departments.
Participate and attain knowledge of all responsibilities within office services. Fill in for office services manager when needed.
Maintain and revise procedures, forms, manuals, training materials, scheduling, absence reporting, productivity spreadsheets and all computer applications used by office services.
Manage and maintain duty rotations in office services.
Implement office services policies and monitor compliance.

Summary of Qualifications:
Associate’s degree and two years of related experience, including leadership experience in a customer service environment preferred.
Capacity to handle multiple work priorities simultaneously.
Ability to effectively set clear goals, delegate responsibilities, ensure and monitor progress and provide timely feedback to staff and management.
Considerable standing, walking and carrying of office supplies, pension informational material, packages and mail internally and between external locations.
