NovaTech Automation makes automation equipment for electric utilities, including Orion automation platforms, Bitronics power instruments, and Kronos time-sync clocks. Orion platforms handle control, protection, and communications in substations, on poles, and at the grid edge. Bitronics instruments measure electrical parameters to help utilities monitor the power system, while Kronos clocks keep time across equipment for coordinated operations. The company differentiates itself with a 10-year warranty and strong long-term support, and its goal is to accelerate grid evolution and decarbonization toward Net-Zero by 2050.

What believers are saying

  • March 2026 IntelliCap acquisition expands NovaTech beyond substations into distribution networks.
  • February 2026 Argus launch monetizes installed fleets with recurring monitoring and diagnostics.

What critics are saying

  • S&C IntelliCap customer migration fails if NovaTech mishandles transition support after March 2026.
  • Argus adoption stalls unless utilities replace legacy monitoring fleets by 2027.
  • Any outage or control failure in utility equipment can trigger warranty costs and reputational damage.

What makes NovaTech Automation unique
