Requirements
  • A minimum of two years performing logistics acquisition and sustainment support functions, including technical data, training and training support, preventive maintenance, supply support, configuration management, support equipment, packaging, handling, storage and transportation, and program support across acquisition life-cycle phases.
  • Experience with integrated logistics support, data management, project management, and In-Service Engineering Agent fielding and sustainment support.
  • At least two years of experience using Information Technology Service Management, Catalog Ordering Logistic Tracking System, Navy Data Environment, SAILOR, ICAPS, CDMD-OA, CMPRO, SPIDER, TDMIS, SME 3 DAS, FEDLOG, WEBFLIS, Haystack, One Touch, and Asset Visibility.
  • Ability to develop written instructions, procedures, spreadsheets, and technical documentation, including System SOVT, Platform SOVT, SIDS, and LARS.
  • Ability to provide assigned-task status through prepared and ad hoc oral briefings to the project manager and customers.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have and maintain a Secret United States Department of Defense security clearance.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to interface effectively with technical and management personnel.
Responsibilities
  • Provide Operating Material and Supplies inventory management support, including Navy Enterprise Resource Planning book-to-floor inventory inspections.
  • Create Catalog Ordering Logistic Tracking System inventory reports and As Installed Configuration Management reports upon request.
  • Respond to material shipment request emails and create shipment documents for worldwide outgoing and return shipments.
  • Update the Catalog Ordering Logistic Tracking System database with real-time status of Program of Record spares allocation, location, and material condition.
  • Research Navy Supply’s One Touch Supply database, SATCOM Integrated Logistics Support products, technical publications, Approved Parts Lists, and other databases to obtain parts weight, dimensions, reference designators, Navy Stock Numbers, and Source Maintenance and Recoverability Codes.
  • Support International Partners’ Navy Multiband Terminal systems by responding to failed-part notifications and creating and routing offline Information Technology Service Management forms.
  • Coordinate Installation Check Out Spares support, including database updates, international shipments, and failed-asset returns to NIWC LANT, Chesapeake, for No Evidence of Failure testing.
  • Coordinate depot overhaul, modification, and tracking of Navy Multiband Terminal X-Band High Power Amplifier Power Condition Units, including Catalog Ordering Logistic Tracking System modification updates.
  • Coordinate Navy Multiband Terminal EBEM inventory and management, including creating and submitting offline Information Technology Service Management tickets to track failed EBEM repair efforts.
Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act certification in Lifecycle Acquisition Logistics Level 1, equivalent logistics training, or an additional two years of direct defense life-cycle logistics support.
