Requirements
  • A high school diploma is required.
  • One to three years of relevant experience working in the construction industry, or a degree in Construction Management or a related field.
  • At least one year of experience working within specialty scopes, concrete, or door, frames and hardware.
  • Basic computer literacy with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Ability to work at a fast pace within time constraints while maintaining professional composure and ensuring timely follow-up.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with team members, clients, and vendors.
Responsibilities
  • Order, track, and maintain tool, material, and equipment inventories and costs.
  • Initialize and maintain project document logs for requests for information, drawings, submittals, and related documents.
  • Partner with the Estimator to develop and demonstrate an understanding of estimating concepts.
  • Coordinate and track the distribution and storage of project engineering documents, including drawing sets, specifications, sketches, architect's supplemental instructions, and permits.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager and Superintendent to understand, create, and maintain the Master Project Schedule.
  • Assist with maintaining the company relationship with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration and remain familiar with Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations.
  • Assist the Project Superintendent with collecting and reviewing subcontractor quality control plans and invoices.
  • Assist the Project Manager with understanding, developing, and maintaining the project budget and financial management, including project cost codes and cash flow.
  • Assist the Superintendent with completing the punch list process.
  • Obtain and provide the client with contractually required closeout submittals from subcontractors and vendors.
  • Attend project, client, vendor, and team meetings as required.
  • Develop relationships with clients, client representatives, subcontractors, vendors, and other parties.
  • Document job site conditions.
  • Promote communication, teamwork, and a safe work environment by exemplifying company core values and procedures.
  • Perform other assigned duties.
Desired Qualifications
  • A degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred.
  • Occupational Safety and Health Administration 10 or 30 certification is a plus.
  • Experience with construction software is a plus.
