You’ll be joining a small team of passionate product designers who collaborate with the broader R&D organization to create simple and delightful digital experiences for our patients and healthcare practitioners.
Designers at Felix take great pride in visual design, and believe that a great product should not only be simple and functional but also beautiful.
Responsibilities
Work with the broader product organization to understand, contribute to, and execute on product strategy and direction
Lead design projects from start to finish from early explorations through to successful implementation
Work closely with product managers and engineers to identify and design improvements that can be shipped quickly
Run a flexible and pragmatic design process that sees research, prototyping, and design reviews as a tool, not a crutch
Communicate design approach and rationale clearly and effectively to stakeholders, both technical and non-technical
Contribute to the art direction and visual design language of Felix to deliver a beautiful and cohesive brand experience to patients through their entire journey
Make improvements to process, tooling, and design systems to enable all designers to create high quality work more efficiently
Requirements
Portfolio that shows experience designing digital products, ideally B2C products
Ability to transform complexity into a simple and intuitive design
Deep understanding of UX fundamentals for web and mobile
Exceptional taste and intuitive understanding of aesthetics, especially on colour, typography, and spacing
Strong communication skills, verbal and written
Passion for improving the lives of Canadians through better health care
