- Performs highly complex cytogenetic work.
- Prepares, analyzes and interprets results utilizing specialized software when necessary.
- Initiates, develops and implements additional assays.
- Utilizes strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as exceptional manual laboratory techniques.
- Previous experience as a cytogenetic technologist with ASCP certification in Cytogenetics (if certification eligible, certification must be obtained within two years of date of hire) is desired.
