Requirements
  • Consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five years.
  • Must be able to use a computer to communicate via email; proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and related tools and technology required for the position.
  • Associate degree or high school diploma and at least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Problem solving and initiative taking skills.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills.
  • Ability to prepare and deliver presentations.
  • Ability to work with a large team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; demonstrated experience working independently with minimal supervision and interest and commitment to international development.
  • Travel occasionally.
  • Location is Washington, D.C.; U.S. Citizenship Required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, & Adobe).
  • All staff must be determined eligible for a Facility Access Authorization by the U.S. Government Security Office.
Responsibilities
  • Perform complex and confidential functions in support of Senior Management to ensure that operations flow smoothly.
  • Assist division director with planning, development, preparation of priorities and special projects.
  • Work closely with the Director’s team on executive-level projects and priorities.
  • Provide direction and information to employees and supervisors on specific situations that may arise.
  • Provide consulting services to the OHS.
  • Support the coordination of content development regarding OHS policies.
  • Support the design and development of new or additional services to be utilized by the OHS.
  • Assist with policy and regulation development.
  • Work with fellow team members to analyze and improve initiatives to support the mission and goals of the OHS.
