Its platforms pull data from many sources, clean and link it, and then let users explore dashboards, reports, and AI-powered insights to make informed decisions. Unlike many analytics tools that focus on one data source or a single function, Palantir emphasizes an integrated, enterprise-wide data foundation with governance and security to support complex environments. The goal is to turn raw data into actionable intelligence that guides strategy and operations, helping clients deploy and scale transformative programs.

Palantir, Marvell and one other AI stock to buy on potential September market pullback

Palantir Technologies and Marvell Technology emerge as attractive AI stocks during potential September market pullbacks, when the S&P 500 historically drops 1.1% on average since 1928. Palantir's AI platform serves as an operating system that reduces AI hallucinations through superior data-gathering capabilities. The company grew revenue 93% year over year last quarter, with net dollar retention of 157%, indicating strong expansion from existing clients. Marvell Technology leads in optical connectivity for AI data centres, providing optical DSPs, switching, and broadband components. The company supplies intellectual property to Amazon and Microsoft for custom chip designs. A recent multi-year deal with Alphabet could generate $18 billion in annual revenue once fully ramped, according to Piper Sandler analyst David O'Connor. Both stocks' valuations make them compelling during market corrections.

Palantir's $8 share guidance raise sparked $40 jump — here's what investors actually bought

Palantir Technologies raised its 2026 revenue guidance in August, lifting it to $8.15-8.16 billion from $7.66 billion. The stock gained roughly 32% following the announcement, adding close to $40 per share. However, at the multiple the market was already paying, that revenue increase is worth approximately $8 per share. The remaining $32 gain came from other factors in the release. The announcement also raised 2026 adjusted operating income guidance by 10.1% and adjusted free cash flow guidance by 7%. US commercial business closed $2.132 billion in total contract value bookings in Q2 2026, up 153% year-over-year. One multinational technology customer expanded to a three-year deal worth nearly $370 million. Over 25,000 builders now work on Palantir's government platform. The company now carries a $401 billion market valuation on $6.16 billion of trailing twelve-month revenue.

Palantir, Nvidia, Booz Allen restrict Anthropic and OpenAI models over data retention concerns

Palantir Technologies, Nvidia, and Booz Allen Hamilton are restricting use of AI models from Anthropic and OpenAI over data protection concerns, Reuters reported. The companies worry model providers could retain or extract value from sensitive corporate information. Palantir has pressed Anthropic for zero data retention guarantees. Nvidia limits Anthropic's models to less sensitive tasks, favouring its own Nemotron models for proprietary work. Booz Allen has banned staff from using Anthropic's commercial model on cybersecurity projects involving proprietary data. The pushback intensified after Anthropic introduced a 30-day data retention policy in June for its Claude 3.5 model, citing security monitoring needs. Anthropic responded by launching Enterprise Frontier Safeguards, allowing customers to store activity data in their own cloud infrastructure under their encryption keys.

Palantir's $13.1B backlog faces deployment capacity test as stock trails 19% below peak

Palantir Technologies' stock has risen 28% over the past three months but still trades 19% below its 52-week high. The company's main challenge is deploying what it has already sold. Palantir signed US commercial contracts worth $2.132 billion in the June quarter. Total remaining deal value reached $13.1 billion at the end of June, up from $11.8 billion in March. The limiting factor is the deployment rate of its AIP platform, which relies on forward deployed engineers. To address this, Palantir partnered with Fujitsu in September, making it a Global FDE Partner to expand deployment capacity. Net dollar retention rose to 157% from 150% in the March quarter. The company raised its full-year 2026 US commercial guide to at least $3.424 billion from $3.224 billion three months earlier.

Palantir cofounder dismisses AI extinction fears: 'We're on top of it

Joe Lonsdale, Palantir cofounder, dismissed concerns about AI-induced human extinction in a weekend social media post, stating "we are on top of it". His reassurance came after Anthropic engineer Jacob Coxon quit this week warning that AI companies are "gambling with our lives". Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei subsequently warned that AI swarms could soon take over the internet, calling for stricter safety regulations and a coordinated slowdown in AI development. OpenAI's Sam Altman, Elon Musk, and Google DeepMind's Demis Hassabis agreed with Amodei's concerns. Lonsdale's stance aligns with President Donald Trump, who dismissed AI warnings as referring to things "that won't happen". Palantir, which Lonsdale cofounded, builds AI software for governments and corporations, reporting 93% year-over-year revenue growth in Q2.
