Requirements
  • A bachelor's, master’s degree or equivalent experience in information technology, engineering, statistics, computer science, business with analytics focus, or related field!
  • 4 plus years of related full-time experience in an analyst role working on a business team, preferably in e-commerce or retail industry.
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL and prior experience with data modelling and performance tuning techniques are a must-have.
  • Experience with ETL techniques and BI tools (Tableau, KNIME, Control M, SSIS, Alteryx etc.) used for data transformation.
  • Solid knowledge on using data visualization tools (preferably Tableau) working with multiple data sources and several dashboards.
  • Demonstrable success in interpreting data and analyzing results using statistical techniques and presenting findings to business partners across the organization.
  • Experience applying statistical techniques such as hypothesis testing, correlation, classification, regression, and time series forecasting.
  • Experience using machine learning frameworks in R or Python to drive process improvement is a big plus.
  • Experience with Git, Jira, and Confluence to handle source code and track project development.
  • Current permanent US. work authorization required.
Responsibilities
  • Drive the foundational operations metrics and reporting used by our leadership teams at all levels.
  • Support different business groups in the fulfillment operations and supply chain space and build high quality and impactful data products.
  • Perform deep-dive investigations into data questions and weave those findings into an effective story to lead changes within the fulfillment network.
  • Develop operational metrics and build solid data products using BI tools and other software.
  • Take analytic findings and work with collaborators to implement the methods used in the analysis to drive analytic insight around the findings.
  • Lead quality control and testing initiatives for work produced by the Analytics team.
  • Conceive, develop, and implement analytics solutions to sophisticated business problems.
  • Work with cross-functional partners in defining and documenting requirements for building high quality data products.
  • Develop and deliver communication and training plans on data analytics capabilities, standards, and processes.
  • Lead the evaluation, implementation and deployment of emerging tools and technologies to improve efficiency.
