We are currently seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer, reporting directly to the HSEd Head of Department, to join our Safety and Environmental team based in Lyon (France).

About the mission we offer you:
Working within the Environmental and Health Engineering Department, you will perform environmental studies and activities to ensure that the engineering of the installations complies with the regulatory requirements established in the context of the project. The post requires strong interface and communication skills with other project disciplines such as process, civil, piping, instrumentation etc.
Technically you will oversee or perform:
Regulation (French, European, International) requirements regarding environmental topics
Support and manage environmental scope on permitting activities – especially in France
Follow up of environmental aspects
Technical environment deliverables (effluent lists etc…)
Participation to ENVID/HRA
In term of Management, you will be in charge of the Environmental Activity in the department:
Management of the environmental engineers
Starting Date: As soon as possible
Engineering Degree or equivalent with a specialization in environment, you have minimum 10 years’ experience in the environment field with a good knowledge in environmental regulation, especially in French (ICPE/permitting activites) and European regulation.
Personal skills include good communication skills, adaptability, rigorous and capability to work within a project team.
You work well with process documents (PID, Material balance, PFD etc….) that are the main inputs for our discipline.
Qualifications: ENSIC, ENSIL, UTC, CPE, INSA, Mines, Master….
Languages: French (Fluent) English (Professional)
Main skills: French Regulation, Permitting dossier (DDAE/ICPE), European Regulations, International Regulations, Process
