Requirements
  • Degree from an accredited college preferred or 1-3 years related experience and/or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Mechanic knowledge preferred to understand customer equipment needs to provide the customer with equipment solutions.
  • Strong customer service skills to maintain long term strategic relationships.
  • Able to effectively network throughout the organization to obtain resources required to meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Strong computer skills needed for DBS, ServiceLink and SalesLink/CRM software, PSQ, and CAT Inspect. Must be familiar with programs such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and database management.
  • Must be a self-starter with good time and territory management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are necessary for phone, in-person and email communications.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment as a well-organized team player.
  • Willingness to learn with a prompt and strong attendance record.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with clean driving record. This includes no more than 2 minor violations within the past 3 years and no major violations within the past 5 years (Motor Vehicle Report will be performed on final candidate).
Responsibilities
  • Assists customers with sales needs. This includes establishing, qualifying, maintaining contact with small to medium-sized customers to increase sales of machines, work tools, rentals, parts and service solutions.
  • Mail and email electronic and other promotional campaigns to assigned accounts.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot customer service issues.
  • Make outbound follow-up calls to existing customers via telephone and e-mail cross-sell and up-sell.
  • Handle inbound calls and convert them into sales.
  • Measure U/C and report to customer with quote.
  • Conduct TA1 inspections and report to customers with quotes.
  • Manage 300 to 500 active customer accounts.
