Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a related field

Responsibilities

Create optimized and efficient frontend tooling for our labelers to complete complex tasks
Build out data labeling applications that have high performance on consumer laptops
Design a frontend interface that optimally combines machine learning predictions with human inputs
Interact with backend engineers, UX designers and ML engineers
Work on a small team critical to the company's mission

Desired Qualifications

Experience with SVG, HTML Canvas, WebGL is a big plus
Experience with NodeJs based backend is a plus

The user interfaces that 2D frontend engineers build at Scale combine humans and machines in a way that’s never been done before. You will be working on a variety of projects such as creating seamless workflows for our human labelers and designing powerful tools to label complex data such as images/videos. To build highly-performant and data-intensive apps, you will use frameworks like 2D Canvas, WebGL, and SVG. You will also collaborate with machine learning engineers to create hybrid labeling pipelines powered by a combination of machine learning and human judgment.

As an 2D frontend engineer, you will:

Create optimized and efficient frontend tooling for our labelers to complete complex tasks.

Interact with backend engineers, UX designers and ML engineers.
Work on a small team critical to the company’s mission.

Ideally you’d have:

Experience building highly performant and data-intensive apps.
Product engineering experience building full-stack web apps and integrating with relevant APIs and services. (Javascript/Typescript, React, Node, etc)
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a related field.

Nice to have:

Experience with SVG, HTML Canvas, WebGL is a big plus
Experience with NodeJs based backend is a plus
