Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field is required; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, is required.
  • Two years of experience in healthcare operations, project management, provider services, or medical group administration is required.
  • Experience coordinating projects, operational initiatives, or provider-related processes in a healthcare environment is required.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including clinical operations, information technology, human resources, finance, and administration is required.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously is required.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams is required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information is required.
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working at a computer workstation is required.

Responsibilities
  • Support data collection, cleaning, preprocessing, and exploratory analysis to prepare datasets for modeling and reporting.
  • Assist leadership in achieving operational and financial objectives while supporting quality and service initiatives.
  • Participate in project planning activities, including reviewing project proposals to determine goals, timelines, funding, staffing needs, and resource allocation.
  • Develop and maintain project scope documentation, project schedules, and project work plans for assigned initiatives.
  • Monitor project progress and communicate status updates, risks, and challenges to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Manage project documentation, including timelines, scope definitions, cost estimates, and reporting.
  • Coordinate with clinical teams, information technology, vendors, and operational leadership to ensure successful project execution.
  • Identify project risks or operational issues and escalate them appropriately while facilitating mitigation strategies.
  • Support change management processes, including documentation and communication of change control outcomes.
  • Coordinate internal and external project resources, including consultants, vendors, and operational staff.
  • Assist in maintaining acceptable levels of project staffing and support oversight of contracted vendors when appropriate.
  • Schedule project meetings, events, and team activities to support leadership expectations and project timelines.
  • Facilitate cross-functional meetings and project status reviews with stakeholders.
  • Provide regular project status reporting, including updates on timelines, scope, resources, and deliverables.
  • Maintain a catalog and tracking of active projects, improvement initiatives, and associated documentation.
  • Support provider contract management activities, including contract requests, amendments, renewals, and terminations.
  • Ensure provider compensation structures and operational terms are documented accurately.
  • Maintain provider workforce records, including Epic SER maintenance and Workday provider or contingent worker records.
  • Collaborate with human resources, payroll, finance, and operational teams to ensure accurate workforce and compensation setup.
  • Support regulatory compliance initiatives, quality improvement efforts, and operational process improvements.
  • Participate in committees, departmental initiatives, and special projects as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Project management training or certification is preferred.
  • Experience with Epic, Workday, QGenda, or similar healthcare enterprise systems is preferred.
  • Experience supporting provider contract management or compensation models is preferred.
  • Experience supporting system-wide operational or clinical initiatives is preferred.
  • Experience in physician enterprise or hospital-based operations is preferred.
  • Occasional travel to organizational sites or meetings may be required.
