Requirements
  • B.S. or B.A. in business, healthcare, or related discipline, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Master’s Degree in same preferred.
  • Minimum five years’ experience with profit/loss accountability in multi-site service industry required.
  • Must have, or be eligible to obtain, a valid driver’s license and driving record within the standards outlined within Hanger’s Motor Vehicle Safety Policy and Procedures.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage operational budgets, ensuring cost control and profitability.
  • Ensure that resources, including personnel, are allocated effectively.
  • Analyze financial reports and operational metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining high service standards.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with company goals and ensure high standards of customer service.
  • Streamline workflow and implement best practice to improve efficiency and increase productivity.
  • Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and manage performance.
  • Identify and implement solutions to address operational challenges and opportunities.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on regional performance to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Leverage technology and automation to optimize processes and increase productivity.
  • Lead the implementation of new processes, technologies, and strategies
  • Ensure that departments work together seamlessly to achieve common goals.
  • Facilitate the sharing of information and resources between departments.
  • May coordinate activities of other personnel (Team Lead).
Desired Qualifications
  • Minimum three years’ experience in health care management required. Experience managing a clinical organization preferred.
  • Experience with supervision of employees and with annual revenues of at least $5 million preferred.
  • Minimum five years’ experience in orthotics & prosthetics industry preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years’ profit and loss accountability in a multi-site health care setting preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence others.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, make well thought out decisions, and take decisive action.
  • Ability to analyze operations and identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in order to develop a Zone strategic plan/vision.
  • Flexibility/adaptability to a rapidly changing environment.
  • Knowledge of multi-site operations managed from central location.
  • Ability to analyze and manage quantitative business and financial information.
  • Proficient in Windows based office technologies (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Act with integrity in all ways and at all times, remaining honest, transparent, and respectful in all relationships.

Hanger acquires Liberating Technologies to advance prosthetic research and development

Hanger, Inc., a leading orthotic and prosthetic patient care provider, has acquired Liberating Technologies, Inc. (LTI), a research organisation founded in 2000 and previously owned by Coapt. LTI's research team has secured numerous government-funded grants since 2008 to develop next-generation technologies for the orthotic and prosthetic field. LTI will join Hanger Ventures and the Hanger Institute for Clinical Research and Education to drive innovation in clinical care. The team will continue current grant-funded initiatives, including advancing voice-recognition technology for prosthesis control and developing socket cooling systems for residual limb skin health. Hanger acquired Coapt, LTI's previous owner, in 2025. With this acquisition, the complete Coapt portfolio now belongs to Hanger, which operates more than 925 clinic locations across the United States.
