Requirements
  • Some hands-on experience in a media company (or similar environment) — ideally in operations, content, or project management. You know how to keep budgets, payments, and workflows on track.
  • You’re organised, adaptable, and comfortable juggling multiple projects and stakeholders at once.
  • Strong communication skills, sharp attention to detail, and a genuine interest in improving processes.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and unwavering commitment to meeting deadlines
  • Experience working in content management systems (CMS).
  • Fluent German and business-level English.
Responsibilities
  • Actively participate in editorial meetings to ensure adherence to schedules and deadlines.
  • Support day-to-day editorial operations and make sure our systems run smoothly.
  • Track and maintain monthly and annual content budgets and estimates, coordinating with operations, editorial, creative, and financial teams.
  • Process content invoices, and liaise with editors to ensure contracts are current.
  • Guide new suppliers and freelancers through our onboarding process and build strong external partnerships.
  • Provide operations support for the print production and editorial teams, working with editors, creatives, and production team members on lineups, routing, asset management, fact sheets, syndication, and related.
  • Coordinate communication and deadlines with editors and contributors.
  • Get familiar with new editorial tools and help the team adopt them smoothly.
