Requirements
  • Active TS//SCI clearance with CI Poly.
  • Minimum of 6 years of professional experience as a Platform Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong hands-on experience designing, implementing, and maintaining highly available, scalable, and secure platform architectures at scale, in the cloud and on-premise, across multiple classification domains (IL5 to IL6+) simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in AWS (Azure a plus), with a strong understanding of cloud services and networking.
  • Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker, Kubernetes; specifically experience with OpenShift is highly preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex system issues.
  • Experience working on an Agile development team.
  • Ability to obtain privileged user access.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement a resilient and scalable platform architecture.
  • Lead the planning, development, and deployment of platform components, services, and applications.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, tools, and frameworks to optimize platform performance, security, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes, enabling rapid and reliable software delivery.
  • Monitor platform performance, identify bottlenecks, and proactively optimize systems for maximum efficiency.
  • Manage cloud-based infrastructure and orchestration tools to ensure high availability and fault tolerance.
  • Drive security best practices throughout the platform, implementing measures to safeguard data, applications, and services.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues across the platform stack and provide effective resolutions to minimize downtime.
